Registration terms conditions

Registration terms & conditions

All registrations are made subject to the terms and conditions of Clockwork Medical as set out below:

Clockwork Medical will receive bookings (subject to availability) by either receipt of a completed Order/Registration form accompanied by full payment details or via the submission of an online booking

Upon Clockwork Medical written (including online) communication to you of its acceptance of your booking for a place at the event there shall be a legally binding contract between Clockwork Medical and you to which these terms apply.

Payment Terms
Payment is required within 30 days of the registration being received. When registration is made within 30 days of the conference, payment is required before the first day of the conference. In all cases when payment is not received before the event, we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event.

We must receive payment prior to the event date. If you have not received confirmation of your booking within 14 days of the event, please contact as we may not have received your booking. We cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of information.

Whilst in attendance at the event, if we reasonably consider that your behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, offensive, dangerous or illegal, we may ban you from further participation in the event without a refund.

Methods of Payment
Payments are accepted in Sterling only. Payments can also be made by credit card. For Cheque payments and Bank transfers, an invoice will be raised containing the necessary information.

Cheques must be drawn on a UK bank account with a UK sort code and should be made payable to ‘Orthopaedic Educational Courses’ and sent to Clockwork Medical, The Cart House, 2 Chestnut Farm Barns, Village Street, Sedgebrook, Grantham, Lincs NG32 2EW.

Registration Fee
The registration fee covers attendance at all sessions, refreshments, conference documentation on the day plus access to the conference presentations post event. The fee also covers attendance at the conference receptions where applicable.

Correspondence containing all the necessary location and timing information will be sent out via email approximately four week prior to the event.

Conference Documentation
An A4 folder is provided at the event containing a printed programme, speaker biographies and other material as deemed necessary by the organisers. One copy is made available for each paying delegate. Due to reasons beyond the control of the organisers, not all speaker presentations are available before the event and the provision of presentations after the event is at the discretion of our speakers. Following the conference, a link will be emailed to delegates and the available speakers presentations can then be accessed on the event website. Please allow 5 working days for this to arrive.

Event Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is not included in the registration fee.

Travel is not included in the conference fee. It is the responsibility of the attendee to make their way to the conference venue in adequate time. Clockwork Medical is not liable for any delays or non-attendance resulting from delayed or suspended transportation. Directions to the conference venue can be found on the venue page of the conference for which you are registering.

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing and receipt acknowledged. You agree that these charges represent a genuine pre-estimate of the costs Clockwork Medical will incur as a result of cancellation.

We recommend using a method of recorded delivery to ensure notice of cancellation is received. Substitutions will be accepted and conference documentation will be provided. You are still entitled to conference documentation in the event of cancellation and this will be despatched once the conference is finished.

Clockwork Medical is committed to ensuring that the submission of sensitive information, such as credit card details, is safe and secure. We employ reputable and reliable service providers to ensure such information is protected. All information we hold is kept secure with access limited to personnel charged with the processing of such data. All personal data is gathered and processed in line with the Data Protection Act.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of the conference organisers to alter the venue, content or the timing of the programme. We will endeavour to keep you abreast of such changes but any reasonable change to the conference format will not constitute a reason to refund the conference fee. Should the event be postponed, we will endeavour to reschedule the event. If, for reasons beyond the control of Clockwork Medical, an event is cancelled, a full refund will be made. We are not liable to pay any incurred costs resulting from any postponement or cancellation, Clockwork Medical total liability to you in connection with the cancellation of an event shall be limited to a refund of the Fee.

We will not offer refunds to delegates due to circumstances affecting the event, or your ability to attend it, which are outside our control (for example, but not limited to, a terrorist alert or incident or adverse weather) unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled for another date, in which case we will retain up to 50% of the delegate fee to cover marketing, administration and delegate registration costs.

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of persons for whose acts or omissions we are legally liable, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect or consequential, which you may suffer at or in relation to the event, and our aggregate liability to you will in any case be limited to the amount you have paid to us.

Views expressed by speakers are their own and Clockwork Medical disclaims all liability for advice given or views expressed during an Event. Documentation distributed at an Event is intended for information only and should not be relied upon.

Clockwork Medical Ltd does not accept responsibility for the non-arrival of Event information.

Please note that for promotional purposes, the Event or part of it may be filmed by audio, visual, audio-visual or electronic means. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions will continue in full force and effect as if the terms had been executed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision omitted. Any express or implied waiver to perform any obligations under these terms will not prevent the subsequent enforcement of them. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms.

These terms shall be governed by English law and you hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Nothing in this clause shall limit Clockwork Medical right to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.

Meeting Overview

Despite COVID-19 there is a very clear demand for continued education, We are pleased to announce that the Bristol & Oxford Knee group have decided to run a virtual meeting for 2020.

For the first time, Bristol & Oxford will be able to share platforms, the Oxford group will present on Monday evening, followed by the Bristol group on Tuesday evening.

The focus will be a fully interactive meeting, focusing on case presentations and lively discussions, delegates are invited to join us live to quiz the teams on the latest innovations on UKR.

Key Topics include:

The aim of the meeting is to discuss the options currently available for the management of unicompartmental disease of variable severity.

Where areas of controversy exist we wish to explore these and aim to stimulate discussion and debate case based discussion.

Areas include:

  • How do we assess the outcomes of PKA?
  • Is the role of PKA expanding in the Covid Era?
  • Update on function and activity post partial replacement
  • 5 year results of Oxford uncemented with microplasty instruments
  • Development of algorithm for management of bearing dislocation in UKR
  • 45 minutes of case presentations / round table discussion
